Happy Thursday Morning everyone! (For me it's a Friday, I've got tomorrow off!!)

"Vote for me!"
Back to back games on the way, Sens on a 3-0-1 roll, one traded disgruntled Nikulin, and how soon can we start the "Vote for Auld" campaign!?
Everyone seems to be getting back on the bandwagon of thinking that maybe this team can make some waves after all. A winning record and a goaltender making the big saves, not to mention Fisher and Vermette looking better, seems to be all it takes to reinstill faith in our team!
Sens at Lands End weighs in on the game:
"Both Ottawa goals had me cheering at my TV. Mike Fisher’s pass up to Dany Heatley was pretty enough on its own, but Heatley’s breakaway goal was a thriller. I’ll just take a moment here to bring back the DHARMA (Dany Heatley Appreciation: Recognizing Moments of Awesomeness) Initiative and give Heatley some praise."

While I attended a Hanson Brothers charity hockey game last night (while receiving quite the cold shoulder for those of you who know why), this posting from over at Black Aces shows us a little collection what our Sens have delivered over the years. Hit the link for all the youtube clips.
"Just in the mood I guess...
Vintage Senators scraps. "

Over at Sens Army, the All Star Nominees are in. From your Ottawa Senators are Phillips, Heatley, Spezza, and Alfredsson. I think Peter says it best with,
"whenever the voting period begins, we must rise! Rise, loyal army of the Senators! RISE!
Hahaha... it never gets old."

Sharp has another blog up about Nikulin, Fata, and an interesting bit about Jeremy Yablonski.
"when I asked Mirasty if he had any good Yablonski stories, and he talked about the time, several years back, that four guys from out of town made the unfortunate decision to jump Yablonski on the dance floor during a local dance in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. "He took care of himself pretty good," Mirasty said, with a laugh."

Over at Five For Smiting, Sens Lost Cojones has taken a step back from all the jubilation that's been happening. He gives a very interesting take on where the club is now, the challenges ahead, and the heartaches the club has been through in our short history.
"For even as we celebrate tonight, we know the challenges that tomorrow will bring are the greatest of our season -- laziness, blowing a damn-near full two minutes of five-on-three powerplay time, worst defensive crisis in a decade...Martin Gerber."
